You have a Titan rack, or you’re about to buy one, and there’s a Titan attachment in your cart. The catch is that Titan sells three rack systems that look alike on a product page and don’t share parts the way you’d expect. The X-3 uses 3×3″ uprights, the T-3 uses 2×3″, and the T-2 uses 2×2″ with bigger holes and no side holes. Here’s which Titan X-3 vs T-3 vs T-2 attachments fit which rack, going by Titan’s own pages.
The quick version: X-3 and T-3 share 5/8″ pins, the same hole pattern and 6″ side holes, so a handful of side-bolted parts are sold as “T-3 & X-3.” Anything that wraps around or slides onto the upright is sold per series. T-2 is a separate system with its own accessory line. Specs come from Titan’s product and support pages, checked September 22, 2026. Putting Rogue or REP parts on an X-3 instead? X-3 vs T-3 vs T-2: the specs that decide fit

A note on the T-3 hole size
The T-3 product page has 11/16″ holes, and the T-3 support article puts them at “approximately 11/16 inches in diameter.” The FAQ on the T-3 accessories collection page describes the attachments as “designed for 2×3 uprights with 5/8″ holes,” while the support pages give “The T-3 and X-3 racks use 5/8-inch pins.” Most likely the FAQ mixed up pin size and hole size, though Titan hasn’t said so. Either way, T-3 and X-3 hardware comes down to 5/8″ pins in the same hole pattern.
5/8″ vs 1″ rack hardware covers why hole and pin size matter.
How the three series differ in practice
X-3: the 3×3 rack
Titan’s X-3 pages sum it up as “all the features of T-3, but with larger 3″ x 3″ uprights and 11-gauge steel.” You get the same Westside spacing through the bench and clean pull zone, the same 6″ side holes and the same 5/8″ pins. The upright is an inch wider on one face, though (3″ x 3″ vs 2″ x 3″), so anything that clamps or sleeves around it has to match that width. Power rack upright sizes covers tube sizes across brands.
T-3: the 2×3 rack
The T-3 is Titan’s step up from T-2: “larger 2″x3″ uprights, thicker 11-gauge steel and more options.” On the 24″ depth model, “The upper and lower holes are spaced 2 inches center to center, while the middle (bench area) holes are 1 inch center to center,” per the T-3 support article. That’s the Westside pattern, and Westside hole spacing explains what it changes for safeties and J-hook height.
T-2: the 2×2 budget rack
The T-2, “our most budget-friendly option” in Titan’s words, is a different system from the other two: 2″ x 2″ 14-gauge uprights, 1″ holes spaced 2″ on center, M12 bolts instead of 5/8″ pins, and no side holes. 11-gauge vs 14-gauge steel covers the difference in wall thickness.
The missing side holes rule out a lot. Titan’s support pages are blunt: “The lat tower will not fit the T-2 because it lacks the required side holes for installation,” and on a boxing reflex trainer, “the T-2 does not have side holes and the hardware does not match the T-3, so this attachment is not compatible.” That lat tower is the T-3/X-3 version. Titan sells a separate T-2 Series Lat Tower for T-2 racks bought after September 2020.
How Titan labels attachments
Titan runs separate accessory collections for X-3, T-3 and T-2. The product name usually tells you the fit:
- “T-3 & X-3” or “T-3 or X-3” in the name: confirmed for both. These tend to be parts that bolt to the 6″ side holes.
- “X-3 Series” or “T-3 Series” alone: made for that upright size. Titan sells separate X-3 and T-3 Sandwich J-Hooks, for example, and each page confirms only its own series.
- “T-2 Series”: made for the 2×2 frame, “engineered for your T-2’s 2″x2″ frame,” in the T-2 collection’s words.
Titan’s own answer to “Are T-3 attachments compatible with other Titan rack series?” is “Not across the board.” Band Pegs, Weight Plate Holders and the Wall Ball Target fit both T-3 and X-3, but most T-3 accessories won’t fit T-2 or TITAN Series racks because the uprights are a different size.
Verified attachment examples
Each row below comes from a Titan page. An attachment missing from the table isn’t necessarily incompatible, only unconfirmed.

| Vertical Mount Barbell Holder | T-3 or X-3 Series Power Racks | 6″ on-center mounting holes |

| X-3 Series Sandwich J-Hooks | X-3 Series Power Racks | Tool-free pin install; pin size not listed on this page |
| T-3 Series Sandwich J-Hooks | T-3 Series Power Racks | Sold separately from the X-3 version |
| Band Pegs, Wall Ball Target | T-3 and X-3 | Named in Titan’s T-3 accessories FAQ |

| T-3/X-3 Lat Tower, pivoting boxing reflex trainer | Not T-2 | T-2 has no side holes. Titan sells a separate T-2 Series Lat Tower for T-2 racks bought after September 2020. |
Folding and flat-foot versions
Folding racks narrow the list further. Titan’s T-3 accessories support page is direct: “Not all attachments will work with folding racks,” with the X Dip Bar “not compatible with folding power racks” and pulley systems “not designed to be installed on folding racks.”
Bolting matters too. Standard non-folding racks need floor bolting, except the X-3 Flat Foot, and “certain accessories like the Adjustable Monolift Attachments and Lat Tower Attachment require your rack to be bolted down.” With a folding or flat-foot model, check the attachment page for your exact rack, not just the series.
What to check before you buy
- Your rack’s exact series and style. X-3, T-3 or T-2, and whether it’s bolt-down, flat-foot or folding. The series name is usually in the rack’s product title.
- The series named on the attachment. Buy one that names your series. “T-3 & X-3” parts fit either, and a part that names only one series is confirmed for that series only.
- Whether it wraps the upright or bolts to the side. Anything that wraps the upright, like sandwich J-hooks, depends on its width (2″ x 3″ vs 3″ x 3″). Side-bolted parts need the 6″ side holes, which T-2 doesn’t have.
- Bolt-down requirements. Lat towers and monolifts need a bolted rack.
- Other brands’ attachments. Titan doesn’t publish third-party compatibility. Compare upright size, hole diameter and pin size yourself, and confirm with the attachment’s maker.
The rack attachment compatibility checklist goes through each measurement, and the Rack Attachment Fit Checker checks your rack’s specs against specific attachments. For another brand, the same logic applies in Rogue Monster vs Monster Lite attachments.
The series also differ in steel: the X-3 uses 3″ x 3″ 11-gauge uprights and the T-2 uses 2″ x 2″ 14-gauge. The Upright Stiffness Calculator shows how many times stiffer one upright is than another.
Which Titan rack fits your attachment plans?
If you already own one, buy attachments that name your series and check the folding and bolt-down notes before you order.
If you’re still choosing, the series decides what you can add later. X-3 and T-3 share pins, hole pattern and a set of cross-labeled side-bolted parts, and the X-3 adds the 3×3 tube that most other brands build their attachments for. T-2 has its own hole size, hardware and accessory line, including its own lat tower, and no side holes, so it’s the narrowest path if you plan to add much.
